A seven-time All-American, Henderson won the 100 meter hurdles national championship in 1994. Her time of 13.9 broke the NCAA record which was 14.01. She earned All-America honors in the 100 meter hurdles in 1993 (fourth), 1992 (second) and 1991 (third). Henderson was also a member of four All-America relays (1991 – 4x100, third; 1992 – 4x100, third and 4,400, sixth; 1994 – 4x100, sixth). She was the New Jersey Athletic Conference champion three straight years (1992-94) in the 100 meter hurdles.
 
In 1994, Henderson also won the 100 meter hurdles at the Collegiate Track Conference Championships and she was named to Eastern Track Magazine’s All-East Outdoor Track and Field Team. She was named Rowan’s Woman of the Year for the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women.
