Rowan University - Glassboro State College Hall of Fame
Joy Heritage Solomen was a three-sport standout at Glassboro State as a member of the basketball, field hockey and lacrosse teams.

She earned All-College and All-New Atlantic honors in field hockey, while serving as a team captain. Heritage Solomen was a two-year captain for the basketball team and played three years of lacrosse.
The 1969 graduate went on to a successful coaching career, including in volleyball, and returned to Glassboro State in 1986 to start her 26-year tenure as an administrator, first as the director of women’s athletics, and then as the director of athletics.
