Mike Juskus was an NCAA Champion in the javelin, but also owns the distinction of being the only Glassboro/Rowan athlete to win an NCAA Division I Championship.
 
Juskus was the NCAA Division III champion in 1978, 1980 and 1981, while also capturing the Division I title in 1981. He earned All-American honors seven times, which includes three from the Division I championships.
 
Named the Most Valuable Player for the track & field team, he was the record-holder in the javelin at GSC, as well as the NCAA Championships and the IC4A Regionals.
 
After graduation in 1981, Juskus represented the United States in the World University Games, participated in the U.S. Olympic Trials and was selected as the New Jersey Amateur Athlete of the Year.
