LIST OF HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
In 2012, it received its current name after Shirley O'Day and Joy Solomen in honor of their combined service and leadership in coaching and athletics administration that spanned more than five decades. A coach and physical education professor, O’Day was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2004, while Solomen, a student-athlete, coach and athletic director, was one of the first inductees in 1986. The display of inductees can be found in the front lobby of Esby Gym.
Both women were advocates for student-athletes and the development of skill and character through sports, influencing thousands of students and creating opportunities for leadership within and beyond intercollegiate athletics.
