At the 1987 NCAA Division III Championships, Juhl posted a four-round total of 298 (79-74-68-77) to place sixth out of 120 golfers to earn All-America First Team honors in his second year competing at the championship.

Juhl was also a two-time NJAC Champion, winning the title in 1986 and 1987 and earning All-Conference First Team honors, while also being named to the All-District II team in both those years.

A team captain, Juhl was the only golfer in the program’s history to earn the team’s MVP award four times. He graduated in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
