Kapczynski totaled 1,557 career points from 1957 to 1961, a number which still ranks third on the Profs’ all-time scoring list. He was the third player in school history to reach the milestone and held the school record for scoring until 1996. Â

He was named to the NJSAC All-Star Team and to the All-Delaware Valley All-Star team for three consecutive seasons. The team’s Most Valuable Player in 1960 and 1961, Kapczynski was the leading scorer in the conference in 1960 with his average of 18.3 points per game. He was also named the MVP of the 1959 NAIA District 31 Basketball Tournament.
