Rowan University - Glassboro State College Hall of Fame
Carlton Cloud played for four seasons on the Glassboro State basketball team in the early years of the program and was instrumental in starting the Profs’ baseball program in 1941.

He was known as a talented and versatile player who also served as the sports editor of The Whit.

Upon graduation from Glassboro State Teachers’ College, he became a pilot in the Air Force, rising to the rank of Colonel. In 1958, Colonel Cloud lost his life in a tragic airplane accident while serving his country.
