Joy Chamberlain Grant was the college’s first All-American in field hockey, while also playing basketball and lacrosse.
Aside from being named to the USFHA All-America First Team in 1969, she was named to the New Atlantic First Team and to the All-College Team in 1968.
Following graduation from Glassboro State in 1970, Chamberlain Grant remained active in field hockey and lacrosse as an umpire. She also received a master’s degree from Ohio State in 1973.
