MaryKate Madden Stauffer was a two-sport athlete for the Profs in lacrosse (1997-2000) and field hockey (1996-99), receiving All-American honors in lacrosse.  

Madden Stauffer was named to the All-America First Team in 1999 and was a Third-Team selection in 2000. During her career from 1997 to 2000, she compiled 239 points, which ranked her among the top 10 Profs in scoring.  An All-Region honoree and Senior All-Star selection, Madden Stauffer netted 136 goals and 103 assists, a total which is second best all-time.

In field hockey, she was named to the All-Region Second Team and the All-NJAC First Team as a senior (1999), while contributing 14 points (2 goals, 10 assists) from her spot on defense. Twice receiving Academic All-America honors, she was chosen as the Field Hockey Club of South Jersey Division III Defensive Player of the Year while being named to the Senior All-Star game. Serving as the team captain in 1998 and 1999, Madden Stauffer helped the Profs win the NJAC title in 1998 and make three consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
