Christy Grozalis Tuper earned multiple All-America honors in three of the four years that she qualified for the NCAA Swimming Championships. Additionally, she was the school record holder in her specialty, the freestyle (50, 100-yard).

A team co-captain, she earned All-America honors in 1993 in the 50 and 100 freestyle, the 100 butterfly and the 200 medley relay and received All-America honorable mention in the 200 and 400 freestyle and the 400 medley relays. At the 1992 NCAA meet, she was an All-American in the 100 butterfly and 50 freestyle, and in 1991, earned the status in the 50 and 200 freestyle.

Grozalis was an All-NJAC selection for four years in three events (50 free, 200 free, 200 medley) and a three-time All-NJAC honoree (100 butterfly, 400 medley and 400 freestyle relays. She was a four-time Metropolitan Champion in the 50 freestyle, and in 1993, broke the meet record she set the previous year. Grozalis also swam for four winning relay teams that year.
