Debbie Filipek Foster is one of the top scorers and rebounders in Profs’ history and was an All-American for the Glassboro State/Rowan teams that won two NJAC Championships.

Filipek Foster finished her career with 1,377 points, which at that time ranked second on the Profs’ all-time scoring list. She now stands third in that category and ranks seventh all-time with 765 career rebounds. The 5-10 forward converted 351 free throws in her career, which is the second-best number in school history, and her total of 513 field goals made ranks fourth all-time.

She earned 1994 WBCA All-America Honorable Mention as a senior, scoring 20.8 points per game despite missing 10 games due to a season-ending knee injury. The native of Bellmawr, NJ, was named to the All-NJAC First Team as the Profs captured the conference championship, made their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance and posted a 25-1 record.

Filipek Foster topped the 1992-93 Profs with a career-best 21.8 points and 10.9 rebounds per game, as the team earned an NCAA Tournament berth and finished 23-5. It marked her second consecutive season averaging a double-double as she recorded 14.3 points per game and 10.4 rebounds per game in 1991-92 for the squad that went 23-5 and captured the conference title.
