Ed Colleton was dominant in the javelin throw, winning one NCAA Championship and earning All-American honors four times as he placed among the top five finishers in the nation every year. He was also the NJAC Champion for all four seasons.
 
Ranked as the number-one javelin thrower in the nation for three consecutive years (1997-99), Colleton was the NCAA Champion in 1998 with a toss of 210’ 4” (64.12m). He was also the runner-up in his senior season in 1999, while garnering a fourth-place finish in 1997 and a fifth place in his freshman year.

A 2000 graduate of Rowan, Colleton also won the college event at the 1997 Penn Relays, while being named the 1999 NJAC Co-Outstanding Male Student-Athlete in field events.
