Rowan University - Glassboro State College Hall of Fame
An offensive lineman, Wirth was an All-Conference selection in 1981, 1982 and 1983. He also earned Eastern College Athletic Conference All-Star honors in 1982 and 1983. His senior year, the football team won the conference championship and Wirth was selected an All-American and an Academic All-American. Wirth was the Profs’ 1983 team captain and Offensive Player of the Year. He lettered in track and field in 1982 and 1983. Wirth was a member of the 1983 NCAA Championship track and field team and qualified for nationals in javelin.
