Rich Bostwick was an All-American in both cross country and track and remains Rowan’s only two-time All-American in cross country.
He made his mark in cross country, earning All-America honors in 1987 and 1988, while winning the individual title at the NCAA Mideast Regional in both of those seasons. Bostwick, who lettered from 1986 to 1989, won the NJAC Championship for three consecutive years (1987, 1988, 1989), while earning All-Conference recognition every year of his career.
Bostwick lettered in track from garnered All-America status in the 10,000 meters and the 3,000-meter steeplechase (1990). He was an NCAA Championship qualifier three times in the 10,000m and twice in the steeplechase, and received All-Conference honors for four consecutive years.
Following graduation in 1992, he served as an assistant coach for Rowan’s cross country team.
