Suk was a captain for the wrestling and football teams. At heavyweight, Suk compiled a 70-24-3 won-lost record with 40 pins. In 1984, he finished third at the national champions for All-American. An offensive lineman, Suk was an All-Conference second team selection. In 1983, he received the Albert White Award and earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education.
