Rowan University - Glassboro State College Hall of Fame
Abby Singley Adams, who played from 1998-2001, is the first three-time All-American in Rowan field hockey history, receiving first-team honors in 2001 and selection to the third team in 1999 and 2000.
She was also named to the All-NJAC First Team and the All-Region First Team in each of three seasons from 1999 to 2001.
Singley is tied for 11th on Rowan's list for career assists with 24, and her single-season total of 10 assists from 1999 is tied for 13th.
The midfielder provided a steady presence for the Profs and helped them compiled a 66-13 record through four seasons. The native of Marlton, NJ, was a member of the 1998 team that was Rowan's first to reach the NCAA Semifinals. During her career, the Profs would go on to make four NCAA Tournament appearances, with two berths in the Elite Eight and two in the Final Four, which laid the groundwork for the program's NCAA title in 2002.
