Rowan University - Glassboro State College Hall of Fame
A four-year starter (1993-96) at shortstop for the softball team, she was named the 1996 New Jersey Athletic Conference Player of the Year and the Eastern College Athletic Conference Player of the Year. She earned All-America honors in 1993, 1994 and 1996. Her senior year, she received the Evelyn Reade Award for leadership, cooperation, good attitude and a fine academic standing.

She had a career batting average of .458 with 275 hits and 196 RBIs and 175 runs scored. Pittner totaled 39 doubles, 31 triples and two home runs. She left holding the school records for career at-bats (601), hits in a season (83, 1996) and career (275), season batting average (.565, 1996), triples in a season (12, 1996) and career (31), total bases in a season (124) and runs batted in in a game (six, three times), season (62, 1996) and career (196).
