Ken Kling was a standout on the Glassboro State cross country team in his four years of participation.

He earned All-Conference honors all four years and was named the Profs’ MVP. In his junior and senior seasons, he qualified for nationals. Kling won over 90 percent of the team’s dual meet races and held the school’s course record.

He was a member of the school’s first-ever track team during his senior year. He finished second in the conference in the 5,000 meters and was third in the mile, while also earning All-State honors in the mile and holding school records in the 800, mile and 5,000.
