CASTILE, NY – The Rowan University women's cross country team finished 18th at the Mike Woods Invitational on Saturday.  The 6K course was at Letchworth State Park.
 
There were 32 schools at the invitational and 453 runners that ran the race.  Christin Bettis (sr. Hammonton, NJ/Hammonton) came in 53rd place with a time of 23:09.4.  Christina Ricci (sr. Spotswood, NJ/Spotswood) was 97th in 23:41.2. 
 
Catherine Dougherty (sr. Deptford, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) took 115th (23:58.0) and Jessica Nguyen (fr. Plainsboro, NJ/West Windsor-Plainsboro) was 139th (24:11.7).  Emily Acton (so. Pennsville, NJ/Pennsville Mem.) finished 158th (24:19.5) while Alexis Hoerter (so. Dorothy, NJ/St. Joseph (Hammonton)) and Onyi Obelle (sr. Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) were 165th (24:23.8) and 170th (24:26.1) respectively.
