Gabriella Pagano's first-place finish helped Rowan capture the 2025 NJAC Women's Cross Country Championship for the second year in a row on Saturday morning. The meet was hosted by Stockton.
FINAL RESULTS
Pagano gives the Profs' its second individual winner in a row (
Mia Guerra – 2024) and 14th overall as well as the team's eighth team title in program history.
Shannon Stakelbeck was fourth (22:57.7) with
Jezena Aponte in tenth (23:24.3),
Juliana Sieminski in 12th (23:27.3), and
Ally Wernik in 14th (23:32.0) to account for the top 5 scoring individuals.
Rowan's 41 team points slightly bested second-place TCNJ with 46. Host Stockton was third (67 points), followed by Ramapo in fourth (85), Montclair State in fifth (133), Kean in sixth (200), Rutgers-Camden in seventh (220), and Rutgers-Newark in eighth (236).
Pagano and Stakelbeck will earn All-NJAC First-Team Honors for placing in the top seven at the conference championships. The trio of Aponte, Sieminski, and Wernik will garner sports on the second-team as part of the next seven finishers in the championship race.
On Saturday, November 15th, Rowan will host the 2025 NCAA Division III Metro Regional Championship at the DREAM Park in Logan Township, NJ.
