Wilson Records 800th Win As Softball Coach at Rowan

GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan's Kim Wilson recorded her 800th win at the University when the softball team defeated Ramapo College, 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship Tournament.
 
The Profs also had a 6-3 victory against the Roadrunners.  In 25 seasons, she has compiled an 801-271-2 record at Rowan.  Her overall coaching mark stands at 865-328-2.  Under Wilson, the softball team has won seven NJAC Championships and advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament 17 times.  She has guided the Profs to two NCAA Regional titles and three NCAA Championship appearances. 
 
Wilson has been named the NJAC Coach of the Year eight times.  Prior to the season, Wilson was ranked eighth by victories (838) in the NCAA Division III among active coaches and 17th in winningest by percentage (.721).  She is also 14th among all-time coaches by victories and 21st in winningest by percentage.    
 
Wilson was the head softball coach at Washington & Jefferson College (PA) for six years and had a 64-57 mark.
