NCAA Region Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Rowan University softball team remained second in this week's NCAA East Region Rankings. This is the third regional ranking of the season.  
 
The College of New Jersey is ranked first in the East Region.  Misericordia University is third followed by Cedar Crest College, fourth; Stevens University, fifth and Messiah College, sixth.  Rounding out the top eight are Wesley College and Alvernia University who are seventh and eighth respectively.    

The regional rankings are used by the national selection committee to determine the bracket for the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.  The selection show for the national tournament is on Monday, May 17 at 1 p.m. on the web at ncaa.com.
