Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – Forward Nathan Majumder tallied the lone goal at 28:11 of the first half to give Tufts University a 1-0 victory over the host Rowan University in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship Tournament on Sunday.
 
The Jumbos have an 11-5-2 record and advance to the third round on Saturday, Nov. 19. The Profs end the year at 17-3-1.
 
Back Daniel Sullivan (sr. Brooklyn, NY/Poly Prep CDS) sent a ball soaring over the top of a group in the box. It landed 10 yards in front of the goal and Majumder (sr. Williamstown, MA/Mount Greylock) blasted a shot over the goalkeeper.
 
Tufts was outshot 13-7 but was able to keep the Profs off the scoreboard. Goalkeeper Scott Greenwood (sr. Weymouth, MA/Weymouth) made eight saves for his ninth shutout. Rowan goalie Kyle Dennis (so. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) stopped four shots.
