KANSAS CITY, MO - Rowan men's soccer has been recognized with the Men's Soccer Region IV Coaching Staff of the Year award as named by the United Soccer Coaches. Head coach

Cris Vaccaro guided the top-ranked team in the region. It marks the second consecutive regional award for Baker and his staff.
Baker and coaches led the Profs to the final 16 in the NCAA Championship while they captured their second straight NJAC title, and third in the last four years. Rowan went without a loss for 12 consecutive matches before the season came to an end in the NCAA Third Round against an eventual Final Four team, #6 Emory.
Rowan (17-4-4) finished the year ranked #12 in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25. The Profs reached a high of #2 in September after starting the year 5-0-1, marking the highest ranking since 2002 when they were at the #1 spot.
Baker, who completed his 12th season, and his assistants are now nominees for National Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
