2025 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Men's Soccer Performer of the Year and teammate
Ryan Cleary was named to the Academic All-Area Team for the second time after a vote by the sports information offices of the colleges and universities in the Philadelphia area.
It is the second consecutive year that Troiani has been named the Performer of the Year. He headlines the team of 11 student-athletes from eight different schools who were named to the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Men's Soccer Team for the combination of their academic achievement and athletic accomplishments during the season.
Troiano was recently named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Third Team, receiving that honor for the second straight season, and earned his third selection to the All-Region First Team.
Troiani was the NJAC Offensive Player of the Year for the second season in a row, after scoring a career-high 19 goals and posting 43 points and is the first-ever Prof to win the award twice. Troiani was selected to All-Conference First Team for the third straight year as he had had five multi-goal games, including two hat tricks, and six game-winning goals. His 131 career points (55g/21a) rank fourth all-time at Rowan and his 55 goals are third.
A 2024 CSC Academic All-America First Team honoree, Troiani is a three-time CSC Academic All-District selection and majors in Law & Justice Studies at Rowan.
Cleary, also a senior, received his third straight All-Region IV honor, with two consecutive seasons on the All-Region First Team. He was chosen as the conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2025, helping Rowan's defense limit the foes to 1.08 goals per game while the Profs notched five shutouts in the final six matches.
An All-NJAC selection in all four seasons of his career, Cleary contributed offensively this year with two goals and a team-high eight assists.
Cleary, a finance major, earns Academic All-Area honors for the second year. He has also previously received NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention and been named a Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction.
The duo helped lead Rowan to its second straight NJAC title and the NCAA Division III Championship Round of 16.
