Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University men's soccer team won 5-0 over Wesley College in the final game of the Gilmore Alumni Classic on Sunday night.
In the other contest, Moravian College defeated Berkeley College (NJ), 2-1. On Saturday, Rowan shut out Moravian, 4-0 and Wesley had a 3-2 overtime victory against Berkeley.

Shane Patterson (jr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) at 8:42. Patterson scored the second goal (22:23), when he knocked in a rebound. Back
Enzo Scala (so. Toms River, NJ/Toms River E.) registered the assist. Midfielder
Vinny Ignatowicz (jr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River S.) had a header for the third tally at the 29th minute on Scala's corner kick.
In the second period, midfielder
Kevin Pereira's (fr. Allentown, NJ/Allentown) shot was saved by Wesley goalie Ryan Sanders (sr. Lumberton, NJ/Rancocas Valley Reg.) and forward
Derick Carpio (fr. East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) kicked in the rebound (73:06). Caprio's shot deflected off a Wolverine defender for the final goal with 10:59 remaining.
Rowan has a 5-1 record while Wesley drops to 1-4-1 on the season. Prof goalkeepers
Kyle Dennis (fr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) and
Jon Robbins (sr. Woodstown, NJ/Woodstown) each had one save. Dennis was in the net for 75 minutes and Robbins played the final 15. Sanders stopped six shots in 79 minutes and goalie Zack Baker (so. Townsend, DE/Middletown) made one save in the last 11.
Next, Rowan travels to Messiah College on Saturday, Sept. 19 for a 7 p.m. game.
