Box Score SWARTHMORE, PA – The Rowan University men's soccer team shut out Swarthmore College, 1-0 on Wednesday night.
 
The lone goal of the game came off the head of back Will Sjaastad (fr. Allentown, NJ/Allentown). He deflected a corner kick by back Marco Fernandes (sr. Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) past the keeper at the 27:12 mark.
 
The Profs have a record of 10-2 and the Garnet are 4-7-1. Rowan goalie Kyle Dennis (fr. South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) stopped five shots. Swarthmore keeper Tyler Zon (sr. Wellesley, MA/Noble and Grenough) made one save. Rowan outshot Swarthmore, 13-9
 
Rowan hosts Montclair State University on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m. in a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest.
