Men's Soccer Wins 1-0 Over Randolph College

Box Score MANASSAS, VA – The Rowan University men's soccer team won 1-0 over Randolph College on Wednesday night.  The game was played at George Hellwig Memorial Park.
 
Midfielder Vinny Ignatowicz (so. Toms River, NJ/Toms River S.) scored the winning goal at 43:01.  Ignatowicz knocked in a rebound after his initial shot was blocked.  It was his third goal on the season.  The Profs are 6-3 overall and the WildCats have a 4-2-1 record.   
 
Goalkeeper Andrew McNellis (jr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) made four saves in 71:45.  Goalie Graeham Gotrell (jr. Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) played 18:15 and stopped two shots.  For Randolph, goalie CJ Stevens (jr. Mechanicsville, VA/Lee-Davis) had five saves. 
 
Rowan travels to Rutgers-Newark on Saturday, September 27 for a 7:30 p.m. conference game.
