WOODLAND PARK, NJ – The Rowan University women's cross country team took third place out of 17 teams at the Roadrunner Invitational at Garret Mountain on Saturday.

Meghan Borz (sr. Buena, NJ/Buena Reg.) finished seventh overall with a time of 24:18.1.  Gabby Prendergast (sr. Blackwood, NJ/Highland Reg.) captured 13th place (24:50.8) followed by Larissa Pywowariw (fr. Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown Reg.), 18th (25:03.7).  Onyi Obelle (so. Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) ran a time of 25:10.3 for 21st and Christin Bettis (so. Hammonton, NJ/Hammonton) was 22nd (25:12.20).

Samantha Farina (jr. Bayville, NJ/Central Reg.) took 28th (25:37.8), while Priscilla Antuna (sr. Waretown, NJ/Southern Reg.) had a 31st place in 25:50.3.  Kathryn Juniewicz (fr. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) crossed the finish line in 26:17.4 for 41st.  Catherine Nolan (jr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Holy Spirit) was 64th with a time of 27:18.7.

Rowan travels to North Dartmouth, MA for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, September 21 at 10:30 a.m.
