SALISBURY, MD – The Rowan University women’s cross country team took second at the Salisbury Fall Classic on Saturday.  The race was held at Winterplace Park. 

Meghan Borz (sr. Buena, NJ/Buena Reg.) ran 22:02.45 over the 6K course and came in second.  Christin Bettis (so. Hammonton, NJ/Hammonton) finished ninth (22:44.00).  Gabby Prendergast (sr. Blackwood, NJ/Highland Reg.) had a 16th place (23:27.43) and Larissa Pywowariw (fr. Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown Reg.) followed 18th (23:32.74).  Onyi Obelle (so. Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) took 22nd (23:50.02) and Priscila Antuna (sr. Waretown, NJ/Southern Reg.) was 36th (24:27.64). 

Samantha Farina (jr. Bayville, NJ/Central Reg.) came in 38th (24:36.87) while Grace Kaler (sr. Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany Hills) and Kathryn Juniewicz (fr. Galloway, NJ/Absegami) were 43rd (24:51.30) and 44th (24:54.38) respectively.  Rachel Greenberg (jr. Pitman, NJ/Pitman) took 50th (25:20.84).  Catherine Nolan (jr. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Holy Spirit) finished 64th (25:40.75).
