BETHLEHEM, PA – The Rowan University women’s cross country team finished ninth in the brown race at the Lehigh University Paul Short Run on Friday.  There were 39 teams in the 6K race.

Danielle Czohla (sr. Lafayette, NJ/High Point Reg.) came in fourth among 342 runners with a time of 22:08.  Meghan Borz (jr. Buena, NJ/Buena Reg.) took 10th place (22:18) and Joy Hanke (sr. Cranford, NJ/Cranford) was 71st (23:32).  Also scoring were Gabby Prendergast (jr. Blackwood, NJ/Highland Reg.) and Vanessa Wright (jr. Haddonfield, NJ/Haddonfield Mem.) who were 131st (24:07) and 132nd (24:07) respectively. 

Brenda Mendez (so. Glassboro, NJ/Delsea Reg.) finished 177th (24:35) and Onyi Obelle (fr. Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) was 198th (24:44).  Samantha Stapleton (jr. Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) had a 202nd place (24:45).  Deana Wood (jr. Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Reg.) finished 230th (25:12) followed by Catherine Nolan (so. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Holy Spirit), 233rd (25:13).
