NORTH DARTMOUTH, MA – The Rowan University women’s cross country team finished seventh out of 42 teams at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.

Jenn Rawls (fr. Runnemede, NJ/Highland Reg.) took second place overall with a time of 17:59 over the 5K course. Jena Peacock (so. Williamstown, NJ/Our Lady of Mercy Academy) captured sixth in 18:13. Joy Hanke (fr. Cranford, NJ/Cranford) came in 45th (19:24). Rounding out the scoring were Eileen O’Mara (so. Haddonfield, NJ/Haddon Twp.) and Laura O’Mara (sr. Haddonfield, NJ/Haddon Twp.) in 75th (20:00) and 83rd (20:12) respectively.

The cross country team is off next week and returns to action at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University on Friday, October 2 at 11 a.m.
