Rowan (37-5) enters the championship winning five postseason games as it swept through the NCAA Gorham Regional by defeating RIT and Southern Maine (twice) and by picking up a pair of wins over Randolph-Macon in the NCAA Glassboro Super Regional.  Rowan is in the midst of a 14-game winning streak with the last loss coming to #12 Kean on April 18th.

This will mark the first-ever meeting between Rowan and Adrian. A win by the Profs on Friday will move them on to play the winner of (3) Salisbury vs. (6) Endicott at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. The losers of those two games will play on Saturday at 5 p.m.

Denison is the top seed in the finals and has Johns Hopkins, Baldwin Wallace and East Texas Baptist in its pod.

The winners of each pod will play in the best-of-three championship series on June 3 and 4.

Rowan is seeking its third NCAA Championship in baseball with the previous two, which were both won in the state of Ohio, captured in 1978 and 1979.
