Kreyenhagen Earns a Spot on the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Baseball Team

PHILADELPHIA – Rowan's Austin Kreyenhagen has been selected to the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Baseball Team as voted on by the Philadelphia metropolitan area's 30 sports information offices.

Kreyenhagen, a sophomore mechanical engineering major, had a standout year, being named to the 2026 ABCA All-Region Second Team. He topped the Profs' pitching staff with a 9-1 record, which included two complete games, with one of them being a shutout. The righthander registered 54 strikeouts in 77.1 innings and limited the opponents to a .220 batting average.

He was named to the D3baseball.com All-Championship Team as he earned the decision in #4 Rowan's 8-3 win over #8 Salisbury in the NCAA Division III World Series.

Kreyenhagen was chosen to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team and is a two-time Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction, with a GPA of above 3.5. He also received NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention for 2025-26.

Rowan went 38-7 this year while winning the NJAC Championship and the NCAA Glassboro Super Regional to advance to the Division III World Series for the second year in a row. The Profs finished the year ranked fourth in the nation.

In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area, an athlete must be in his or her second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better.
