GREENSBORO, NC - Rowan's
Mason Dorsey has been named to the
2026 ABCA NCAA Division III Region IV All-Defensive Team as voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association. The teams were selected for all 10 regions while
Dorsey, the Profs' centerfielder, posted a .992 fielding percentage this season, committing only one error in 126 total chances.
The senior also had his best year at the plate, and was chosen to the All-NJAC First Team. He ranked third on the Profs in hitting with a .352 batting average, and recorded career-highs of 47 runs, 56 hits, 10 doubles and 34 RBI. Dorsey tied the school record for sacrifice bunts with 16 and ranked second in the nation that category.
The business management major was named to the CSC Academic All-District Baseball team and is a four-time Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction.
Dorsey, who was the NJAC Player of the Week award in March, is a four-time Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction and two-time recipient of NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Rowan (38-7) made its third World Series appearance in five years. The Profs won their first NJAC title since 2021 and hosted the NCAA Super Regional for the first time, winning that title to send them to the World Series.
