GLASSBORO, NJ - Rowan's baseball team was recognized with a 2025-26 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack. The Profs achieved a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.29.

2025-26 ABCA Team Excellence Award

The award honors ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. This year's award recipients include nearly 500 college programs and more than 320 high school programs.

The 2026 Rowan squad also excelled on the field, making its second consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III World Series and finishing the year ranked #4 in the final ABCA Coaches Poll. The Profs went 38-7, captured the 2026 NJAC Championship and claimed the NCAA Gorham (Maine) Regional title. The Profs then won their second consecutive NCAA Super Regional Championship by sweeping Randolph-Macon at home, in the first time that Rowan hosted that round of post-season play.

Rowan was also one of the top offensive teams in the nation, ranking sixth in scoring (10.3 runs per game) and seventh in on-base percentage (.460) while posting the third-best winning percentage (.844) in NCAA Division III.
