GLASSBORO, NJ – Coming off a third-place national finish and College World Series appearance in 2025, the Rowan baseball team enters 2026 ranked #8 in the
D3baseball.com/NCBWA Division III Preseason Top 25.
The #8 Profs will have their work cut out for them by playing one of the nation's toughest schedules, meeting seven ranked opponents before April 1st. The slate includes games against 2025 World Series participants, #2 Endicott, #7 Messiah and #11 Johns Hopkins.
Rowan opens the year with back-to-back games against Top 25 teams, hosting #13 Cortland on February 28 and #21 Penn State Harrisburg on March 4. The Profs will face four ranked teams at the RussMatt Invitational in Florida over Spring Break. On Day 1 (March 12), Rowan faces #24 Keystone and follows with back-to-back contests with #10 Salve Regina and #11 Johns Hopkins on March 15 and 16. The Profs' final opponent in Florida on March 20 is #2 Endicott.
The streak of games vs. Top 25 doesn't end when the Profs return from Spring Break, as they travel to #7 Messiah (March 24) in their first game back.
Despite suffering key losses to graduation, Rowan returns five starting position players, led by
Nick Struble and
Brayden Davis, and two starting pitchers in Preseason All-America
Zach Coluccio and sophomore
Austin Kreyenhagen. Head coach Mike Dickson will also welcome 16 new players, transfers and freshmen, into the fold this season.
In 2025, Rowan (38-12) recorded its most wins under Dickson and the third most in school history. The nationally-ranked Profs reached the NCAA Division III World Series for the sixth time and posted two wins before falling to national champion Wisconsin-Whitewater.
