PITMAN, NJ -- Jason Morgan, Emily McCutcheon, and BethAnne Doderer all scored honors from the New Jersey Athletic Conference in its weekly awards.

Morgan, a senior leftfielder, was named the NJAC Baseball Player of the Week. He led #17 Rowan to four wins at the RussMatt Invitational as he batted .578 (11-for-19), while totaling 10 runs, eight RBI, four doubles and one home run.

In a 14-1 win over Washington & Jefferson, Morgan went  4-for-4 with three runs, an RBI and two doubles. He followed that by going 4-for-6 with two runs, three RBI and two doubles in the 17-11 win over UMass Boston and was 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI in the 11-2 win over Mitchell. In a Top 25 matchup, Morgan went 1-for-4 with three runs, two RBI and a solo home run as the Profs defeated #19 Babson, 11-5.

McCutcheon picked up the NJAC Softball Pitcher of the Week after going 2-0 in three starts down at The Spring Games, while not allowing a run in 16.0 innings of work along with a shutout. The junior struck out nine with no walks with opponents batting just .155. Her best game came in a win over Lake Forest, going the distance, striking out seven on four hits and no walks in a 1-0 pitcher's duel.

Doderer tossed three innings of scoreless relief, yielding two hits, a walk, along with three K's to earn her first collegiate win in a 10-0 victory over Wooster in five innings.

After two more wins on Monday at the RussMatt Invitational, a 13-7 win over Amherst and 11-2 decision against Hope, the baseball team stands at 10-1 on the season and have won nine in a row.

The #4 Rowan Softball team (14-0) resumes action on Tuesday with games against Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Wisconsin-Stout down in Florida.
