Ava Reardon were all cited by the New Jersey Athletic Conference in its award program for the week ending April 19th.
Kreyenhagen was selected the NJAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the first time this season. The righthander allowed just one hit and one run through 7.0 innings as the Profs defeated #12 Kean, 10-2, rebounding from a game-one loss to earn a doubleheader split, striking out two and with two walks two in the win. The sophomore tops the Profs' staff with his 4-1 record and owns a 3.48 ERA, while having recorded 39 strikeouts this season.
McCutcheon also earned top pitching honors as the NJAC Softball Pitcher of the Week. The senior lefthander went 3-0 and posted a 0.00 ERA in 18.0 innings with 11 K's, 5 hits, and just one walk with opponents batting just .086 last week. Two of the wins came via shutout including a no-hitter. On Tuesday at Rutgers-Camden, she spun her second career no-no, striking out four with no walks in a 4-0 victory. On Thursday, she went 4.0 innings (2 H, 3 K, BB) in 9-0 win over PSU-Abington while on Saturday, she tossed a three-hit shutout with 4 K's in a 3-0 victory over William Paterson. This season, McCutcheon owns a 13-5 record with a 1.04 ERA with 69 strikeouts and just nine walks in over 107 innings of work.
Justin claimed the NJAC Men's Track & Field Field Athlete of the Week as the junior produced the #3 Division III mark in the triple jump (14.97 meters), which is an outdoor PR at the University of Virginia Challenge.
Jones was named the NJAC Women's Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week while Reardon captured the NJAC Women's Track & Field Field Athlete of the Week.Jones hit a pair of PR's in both the 100 meter hurdles (13.92) and the 400 meter hurdles (1:00.26) in recording two top 10 D3 times at the North Carolina A&T Aggie Invitational. Her time in the 400 meter hurdles breaks her own record of 1:00.42 set last season while her 100 meter hurdles time eclipses the previous best of 14.02 set in 2019. The sophomore also ran in the 4x400 relay to notch the top NJAC time this season (3:56.33).
Reardon threw the new #2 NJAC and #13 D3 mark in the javelin at the Univ. of Virginia Challenge for a new PR.
This week, the #6 Rowan Baseball team (24-5, 11-3 NJAC) hosts Immaculata on Tuesday before resuming NJAC play at New Jersey City on Thursday. The Profs will then host the Gothic Knights on Friday before heading to William Paterson for a doubleheader and the regular-season finale on Saturday.
#20 Softball (29-7, 12-2 NJAC) welcomes Rutgers-Newark for two games here on Tuesday then head to Ramapo on Saturday to close out the regular season.
Both the men's and women's track & field teams will compete at the Rick McCorkle Invitational hosted by TCNJ over the weekend and select members will take part in The Penn Relays that begin this Thursday.
