GLASSBORO, NJ - Rowan's
Zach Grace was named the Region 4 Pitcher of the Year and
Mike Dickson was named the Coach of the Year as D3baseball.com announced its regional awards. Additionally,
Phil Sedalis was named to the All-Region First Team along with Grace, while
Anthony Schooley was chosen to the All-Region Second Team, with
Tyler Cannon earning All-Region Third Team honors.

Grace made an immediate impact in his first season with the Profs after transferring from Wake Forest. The junior lefthander went 7-0 with a 3.20 ERA and ranks fifth in the nation with 108 strikeouts, while posting five games with double digits in strikeouts. Grace, who received All-NJAC Honorable Mention, threw two complete games and recorded two shutouts, while also notching one save on the year.

Dickson earns D3baseball.com's top coaching award for the first time after being named the 2023 NJAC Coach of the Year, receiving the conference's award for the second time in his career. In his ninth season with the Profs, Dickson led Rowan to a 33-15 record and its second consecutive berth in the NCAA Super Regional. The Profs captured the NJAC regular-season crown for the second year in a row and made their sixth straight appearance in the NCAA Regionals.

Also in his first year at Rowan, Sedalis made his presence known, setting new single-season school records for runs (63), hits (86) and triples (8) while leading the Profs with his .413 batting average. The centerfielder drove in 60 runs and recorded 133 total bases and notched a slugging percentage of .639. The sophomore earned All-NJAC First Team honors and currently ranks third in the nation in hits, after leading for a few weeks earlier this year, and is fourth in triples.

Schooley batted .371 this season while recording new career-highs of 69 hits, 51 runs and 44 RBI. A 2023 NJAC All-Conference First Team selection, Schooley led Rowan by hitting .514 in conference games as the Profs went 13-5 in the league. The junior third baseman recorded 25 games with multiple hits, including a personal-best four-hit effort twice this year. Â

Cannon leads the nation with a school-record 31 doubles, and in doubles per game (2.81), while recording 84 hits, which places him second (to Sedalis) among the Profs' single-season leaders. The senior second baseman had his best season at the plate this year, ranking seventh in the country in hits while also recording career-highs with a .382 average, 60 runs and 41 RBI. He also recently earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.
