GLASSBORO, NJ – The 11th-ranked Rowan baseball team opens the 2023 season on Saturday, March 4 when the Profs open a three-game series at Virginia Wesleyan. The Profs will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. (NOTE NEW TIME), with one game on Sunday beginning at noon.

Coach Mike Dickson's team is coming off a year in which it fell just short of the College World Series after reaching the NCAA Willimantic Super Regional. The Profs went 33-10, were the NJAC regular-season champions and won the NCAA Annville Regional.
 
Among those leading the Profs this season are D3baseball.com Preseason All-America Third Team selection Ryan Murphy, as well as co-captains Tyler Cannon and Jason O'Neill.
 
After opening weekend Rowan will make its annual trip to the RussMatt Invitational in Florida where it will play nine games, beginning with a game against Aurora (IL) on March 9.
 
The Profs will open the home season on March 21 when they host Haverford at 3:30 p.m.
