GLASSBORO, NJ - The seventh-ranked Rowan baseball team will open defense of its conference championship at home on Tuesday, May 2, when the top-seeded Profs play sixth-seeded Ramapo (15-22-1) at 3:30 p.m.
Rowan earned its third consecutive regular-season title when it swept Kean (4-3, 8-7) in this past Saturday's regular-season finale. The Profs have won nine in a row and are 30-6 overall, while finishing conference play with a 16-2 mark.
Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $2 for children, students and senior citizens. Admission is free for the first 75 Rowan students. There are no complimentary tickets for NJAC Championships and season passes will not be accepted.
After Tuesday's opening games, play in the double-elimination tournament will move to Kean University's Jim Hynes Stadium on Friday, May 6, with play continuing thru Sunday, May 7 (if necessary).
