Cat Thomas was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie Pitcher of the Week.
In her first collegiate start, Thomas was the winning pitcher in a 3-0 shutout at Washington College (March 11). She only allowed two hits and had three strikeouts. The Pompton Plains native drove in three runs with a single in Rowan's 8-0 six inning victory over Washington (March 13).
Thomas has contributed with a .364 batting average, which is second on the team. She has a 1-1 record on the mound and a 0.72 earned run average (ERA).
In the conference, Thomas is ranked second in innings pitched (9.2), fourth in opposing batting average (.139), fifth in ERA and sixth in strikeouts (4). Thomas is tied for first in RBI (4), tied fourth in at bats (11) and tied for fifth in hits (4).
