Box Score CHESTER, PA – The Rowan University baseball team defeated Widener University, 20-3 in a non-conference game on Friday.
The Profs improve to 25-14 on the season while the Pride has a 23-20 record. Lefty
Ryan Sharkey (sr. Rutherford, NJ/St. Mary) threw six innings for the victory. He (7-1) only allowed one unearned run on three hits and had five strikeouts. Right-hander Robert Barth (sr. Norristown, PA/Pope John Paul II) suffered the loss. He (4-7) gave up eight hits and six earned runs in two innings.
Rowan recorded 27 hits, which broke the school record. The old mark was 26 versus Haverford College (Apr. 24, 2007). First baseman
