Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University baseball team erased a three-run deficit to defeat Rutgers-Camden, 6-5 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Monday.
The Profs are 14-7 overall and they have a 4-2 conference mark. The Scarlet Raptors hold a 9-9 record and they are 5-1 in the NJAC. Right-hander
Brad Machinski (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill W.) earned the win in relief. He (3-0) allowed one run on two hits in 2.1 innings. Machinski recorded three strikeouts. Righty
Corey Feigenbaum (jr. West Orange, NJ/West Orange) pitched the ninth for his second save. Right-handed pitcher Ryan Sullivan (jr. Livingston, NJ/Livingston) took the loss (1-2).
Third baseman
Kevin McMenamin (sr. Maple Shade, NJ/Maple Shade) went three-for-four with two runs batted in and two scored. Center fielder
Nick Kreiger (sr. Manalapan, NJ/Manalapan) had three hits (three at bats), a double, and two RBIs. Second baseman
Johnny Dunn (sr. Pitman, NJ/Pitman) hit a double, scored one time and knocked in a run. Right fielder

For Rutgers-Camden, center fielder Bobby Romano (sr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) was three-for-four with two RBIs and one run scored. Designated hitter Joe Sigismondi (jr. Blackwood, NJ/Highland Reg.) totaled two hits (four at bats) and one RBI and came home one time. Shortstop Pedro Perez (so. Burlington, NJ/Burlington City) and second baseman Matthew McElhatton (jr. Haddon Heights, NJ/Camden Catholic) each plated a run. Left fielder Joe Brooks (so. Blackwood, NJ/Gloucester Catholic), first baseman Connor Hall (sr. Delran, NJ/Delran) and third baseman Brett Tenuto (jr. Audubon, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) tallied one run apiece.
The Scarlet Raptors jumped out to a 3-0 lead with a trio of runs in the third. Perez had a sacrifice fly and Romano hit a two-run single. Rowan tied the score in the fourth on RBI doubles by Dunn and Kreiger and a sac fly by Todd. The Profs went ahead on McMenamin's single in the fifth that plated Pavlik. Rutgers-Camden evened the score in the sixth when Sigismondi was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Kreiger's single to right center in the seventh gave Rowan a one-run advantage but McElhatton tripled to right center to bring home Tenuto in the eighth. In the bottom half of the inning, McMenamin gave the Profs the lead for good with a RBI single through the left side.
