GLASSBORO, NJ - Mia Foti had a goal and assist as Rowan pulled away from Catholic and earned a 4-0 win in non-conference field hockey action at Coach Wackar Stadium. It was the Profs' second win in a row, as they improved to 2-3.
 
Olivia Nicolucci gave Rowan a 1-0 lead in the second quarter as she scored her third goal in two games. Sydney Kowalczyk took the initial shot and Nicolucci knocked in the rebound off the save at 24:12.
 
The Profs increased the lead in the third quarter as Aurelia McManis took a shot and Kowalczyk was on the goalie's pads to tap it in at 40:50.
 
At 43:16, Foti took a shot on a corner and Paige Gray was at the post to deflect it in. Rowan closed out the scoring just a minute later as Peyton Ryan assisted on a goal by Foti.
 
Ella Morton and Kelley Crescenzo shared the shutout in the cage, with Crescenzo making two saves in the final period. Rowan outshot the Cardinals, 11-3, and held a 9-4 advantage in corners.
 
The Profs continue their three-game homestand on Saturday when they host Haverford at noon.
