#18 Women's Lacrosse to Host First and Second Rounds of NCAA Championship on May 9-10; Profs Will Host Scranton-St. Mary's Winner in Second Round

GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan women's lacrosse team has received an at-large bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship and will host the First and Second Round on May 9 and 10 at the Rowan Soccer and Lacrosse Complex. Scranton will face St. Mary's (MD) in the First Round on Saturday at 3 p.m. with the winner advancing to meet Rowan in the Second Round on Sunday at 3 p.m.

2026 NCAA Championship Bracket

In the top half of Rowan's bracket, top-ranked Middlebury is hosting WestConn and St. John Fisher with the Second Round winners playing in the Regionals on May 16.

It marks the second year in a row that Rowan will be making an appearance in the NCAA Championship and the 13th time in the program's history.

The Profs were ranked #17 in the NPI (NCAA Power Index) as they compiled a 14-4 record and finished as the NJAC runner-up, reaching the conference title game for the fifth consecutive year.

Last year, Rowan defeated WestConn at home in the Second Round and advanced to the third round where it fell to Wesleyan (CT) in the game played at Colby College in Maine.
