Lockhart, O'Neill and Rothwein Chosen to the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Women's Lacrosse Team

PHILADELPHIA – Fiona Lockhart, Jenna O'Neill and Madison Rothwein of Rowan have been selected to the 2026 Philly-SIDA Women's Lacrosse Academic All-Area Team as voted on by the Philadelphia metropolitan area's 30 sports information offices.

Lockhart, a senior computer science major, was named to the 2026 IWLCA All-Region Second Team and was an All-NJAC First Team selection. She was the Profs' third-leading scorer with career-highs of 42 goals and 19 assists, which included a performance of five goals and two assists in a win over Montclair State.

She was named to the CSC Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team and is a four-time Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction, while earning All-NJAC Honorable Mention for the third time.

O'Neill, a senior accounting major, was named to the IWLCA All-Region Second Team for the first time in her career. She also received All-NJAC First Team honors as she recorded personal bests of 29 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers, while being a key performer on defense.

O'Neill received the Sorelle Medallion as the top graduating student-athlete in Rowan's Rohrer College of Business. A four-time Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction. She was named to the 2026 CSC Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team and was chosen to the NJAC All-Academic Second Team.

Rothwein, a sophomore health and physical education major, became an IWLCA All-America Third Team honoree in her first season with the Profs. She was the NJAC Midfielder of the Year and selected to the First Team for both the All-Region and All-NJAC squads.

In addition to tallying 61 points (46 goals, 14 assists), the sophomore set new Rowan records for draw controls in a game (16) and a season (154). Rothwein received NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention and is a Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction.

Rowan went 15-5 and was nationally-ranked all season, finishing the year at #16 in the IWLCA Coaches Poll. The Profs made their second consecutive appearance in the NCAA Championship and reached the final 16.

In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area, an athlete must be in his or her second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better.
