PITMAN, NJ -- The Rowan Profs have been named the favorite in the 2025 New Jersey Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll released on Thursday.
The squad, who is
receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Division III Top 25 Preseason Poll, also captured seven of the 10 first-place votes. TCNJ garnered three first-place votes and was slotted in second place. Montclair State was third, Kean (the dark horse pick) was fourth, with Stockton in fifth and Rutgers-Camden in sixth. NJCU (seventh), Rutgers-Newark (eighth), William Paterson (ninth), and Ramapo (tenth) respectively rounded out the poll.
Last season Rowan put together a 13-3-2 overall and 8-1 NJAC mark to claim the #2 playoff seed. After a tough overtime semifinal loss, the Profs earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament for its 16th appearance in the national postseason and 12th as an at-large selection.

Olivia Giordano, the reigning NJAC Offensive Player of the Year, join returning first-team All-NJAC members
Julianna Giordano,
Lianna SanFelice, and
Sara Wiedeman.
Olivia Giordano tied for the conference lead with 15 goals while sister Julianna added nine points on three goals and three assists. SanFelice totaled a team-best eight assists with Wiedeman contributing six goals and three assists in her first season as a Prof.
The 2025 slate gets started on Wednesday, September 3rd at Albright with the home opener a week later on the 10th against Swarthmore. NJAC action kicks off on Saturday, September 27 with a road contest at Rutgers-Newark. The NJAC Women's Soccer Tournament begins on Saturday, November 1st with the championship on Saturday the 8th.
