PHILADELPHIA -- Julianna Giordano and Olivia Giordano were selected to the 2024 PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Women's Soccer Team.

The twin sisters add to their post-season honors as the duo were named first-team NJAC All-Conference, United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Region, and academic all-district from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) in 2024. This is the first honor for the two from PhillySIDA.

The team is voted on by the sports information offices of 30 institutions from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Nominated student-athletes must be in at least their second year at their current institution and carry at least a 3.30 GPA.

This season, Julianna recorded nine points on three goals and three assists from her defensive midfield position. Olivia led the NJAC in goals (15) as she was named the 2024 NJAC Offensive Player of the Year.

Joining the Giordano sisters on the list were Annabel Austen and Maya Leschly of Penn, Bethany Beinlich of Gwynedd Mercy, Madison McDowell of Penn State-Abington, Susanna Soderman of Villanova, Casey Touey from Drexel, and the foursome of Thomas Jefferson's Nicole Dedes, Jeena Pressley, Liv Riddel, and Carly Yeager. Riddel was voted the PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Women's Soccer Performer of the Year.

This season, Rowan finished with a 13-2-2 overall record and 8-1 in conference play while earning an at-large berth to the NCAA Tournament.
